I am a multimedia journalist with interests in breaking news, national affairs, photography, urban planning, the environment and extreme weather.
Currently, I am a reporter with the Associated Press in Houston, Texas.
In May, I graduated from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism with a degree in digital media. In March, I published a nine-part multimedia thesis, Characters of Gowanus, about an impassioned community in Brooklyn making the most of an environmental catastrophe in its midst.
Previously, I covered breaking news for Newsday; courts, crime, and city politics for the the New York Sun and the New York Daily News; real estate trends at The Real Deal magazine; and hyperlocal news for the Brooklyn Heights Blog and The Brooklyn Paper. I graduated from New York University, where I was editor-in-chief of its daily student newspaper, the Washington Square News.
